SOUTH DAYTON TOPSOCCER ..F.A.Q.s

South Dayton TOP Soccer FAQs

My child has a disability. Is there a place for them?
Absolutely!  The TOPSoccer Outreach Program is a recreational league designed for players with mental or physical challenges.  Your player does not need a physical to play.

Is there a fee to play?
Our registration fee is $40 per player.  Registration fees are due at the time of registration.  If paying by check, please bring your fee the first day of practice.  If you cannot afford the registration fee, please contact Greg Wasmund at (937) 815-1548, and other arrangements will be made for you.

How do I register my player for TOPSoccer?
You can register your player by going to the homepage of our website and clicking on the registration link.  The link is also available on the Signup! tab of our website.

When is the soccer season?
Please see the season schedule on the Schedule tab of our website.

How many practices/games are there per week?
Practices will be every Wednesday and Sunday throughout the season, at Oak Grove Park in Centerville, unless otherwise noted on the season schedule.  If you’re only able to make it one day a week, that’s fine, we want you to come when you can.

How long does practice last?
Each practice/game will last one hour.

What equipment does my child need?

Comfortable running shoes, shin guards, black shorts and black soccer socks. Soccer cleats are acceptable to wear, but not necessary. Tennis shoes are completely appropriate as long as they are comfortable to run in.

T-shirts will be handed out Opening Day with soccer jerseys distributed to all team members a few weeks into the season.

What does my child need to bring to practice?

You should bring a soccer ball and water bottle to practice.

How are game cancellations handled?
There is an information line provided by the South Dayton TOPSoccer. If you are unsure about the weather conditions, please call (937) 815-1548 two hours prior, to see if practice/games will be cancelled.  An email will also be sent out.

How can I become a Volunteer?
If you would like to volunteer, please fill out our volunteer form online.

If you have any questions about volunteer opportunities, please call our South Dayton TOPSoccer hotline at (937) 985-7735.
